Join this Open Floor dance workshop to explore the joys and challenges of human relationships in a creative and informative way.

As human beings we are wired for connection and relationship.

Coming into the world we are dependent on our caregivers to meet our early needs for mirroring and holding. This is when attachment patterns develop which influence how we respond to others later in life. On the dance floor we have the opportunity to become more aware of these patterns and expand our choices of how we relate.

As we move in and out of connection we build our capacity to self-regulate, co-regulate and bring more ease and flow into all our relationships.

This workshop offers playful somatic experiences of dance and sharing towards understanding and embracing self and each other in all the delights and depths of our humanness.

All are welcome to this day of connection and sharing at the lovely Palm Beach Hall, just metres away from stunning Palm Beach on Waiheke Island.

InMotion Together with Sacha Paddy and Ingrid Rose Nagl
Sacha Paddy, 5Rhythms and Open Floor Teacher, Auckland, New Zealand

Sacha Paddy

When Sacha discovered conscious dance through Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms in 2000, she loved the sense of freedom as well as the potential of this practice to be a guiding light through life.

Sacha is now a certified teacher of both 5Rhythms dance and Open Floor movement practices and has been teaching hundreds of classes and workshops since 2008.

She is endlessly inspired by the simple joy of embodiment and the depth of experience that movement and dance offers us. These practices can be such a profoundly supportive resource in our lives.

She holds a heartfelt, fun, compassionate and welcoming space in which to explore life-themes through your dance and movement.
