“…here I am
lying in the hammock of my heart
moving gently
with the softness of my breath
When I fall
from my head
past my words
I’m caught lovingly
by the hammock of my heart
and rocked to its rhythmic beat
It is my peace, my rest, my quiet…
from My Balm, by Jane O’Shea
This will be an afternoon of some of my most cherished (and practical) practices, cultivated through the years of personal practice and teaching Yoga and iRest Yoga Nidra.
In this workshop, we are invited to connect to our ground of BEING through experiencing our feeling body and our breathing body. Within a safe and kind space, we may become more sensitive to our body’s sensations, to the natural and easeful flow of our breath, and be able to rest and be nourished within our essential nature.
The afternoon will include:
- Gentle movement and self-care practices to release tension and stress.
- Restorative Yoga practices to further soften and prepare for …
- … Meditation and iRest® Yoga Nidra orientated to experience BEING.
More information on iRest here >
Open to all levels – students, teachers, and anyone interested in Yoga, meditation, resting, being and self-care.

Neal Ghoshal
Neal has been practicing yoga for over twenty seven years and teaching since 2003. He sees Yoga as a guide to restoring our place and understanding of who we are and how we can live peacefully, happily and completely fulfilled.
Neal’s teaching focuses on exploring and refining natural movement and alignment principles – learning to embody these principles in a way that takes our spiritual practice into our everyday lives.
“My aim in teaching is to create a safe and inviting space in which to learn and discover Yoga as a balance between effort and effortlessness, structural alignment and organic fluidity, mindfulness and spontaneity.
