About 5Rhythms Dance

About 5Rhythms Dance

For full details of all 5Rhythms events in New Zealand, visit their main website: 5rhythms.co.nz.

5Rhythms Dance is a simple yet profound movement practice which encourages freedom and fluidity in our dance and in our lives.

You are invited to let your body move finding your unique dance guided by the 5Rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness.

Each rhythm offers us its gifts when we surrender to the dance. Sometimes we get to the magical space where our dance becomes a body prayer and we are no longer dancing but being danced.

No dance experience is needed – just a willingness to dive into your own unique dance. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and bring plenty of water to drink.

Please be on time as a respect to the space and other dancers, and we can save our catch ups for after the session to make the most of our dance time.
