In one of Yoga’s primary ancient texts, the Bhagavad Gita, there’s an inspirational and very practical verse:
“On this path effort never goes to waste, and there is no failure. Even a little effort towards spiritual awareness will protect you from the greatest fear.” (ch2, v40)
I love this teaching because it wonderfully encourages practice, showing that even the smallest efforts can yield rich rewards. Yoga practice doesn’t need to last an hour or more each day; simply engaging in practice for a few minutes can provide incredible support physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
And this has been my personal experience too. The days I practice for 10 or 20 minutes, are more grounded, centered and flowing … I feel more resilient and more able to meet my daily life with wiser and more appropriate responses.
I am delighted to be offering this six week Yoga course, with practical and accessible tools for resilience and wellbeing. It will include valuable tips and encouragement to an effective and easeful regular home practice. Also on this course:
- Inclusive, practical and doable Yoga, accessible to everyone.
- Yoga for stability and mobility.
- Back care fundamentals – exploring the stability and mobility of the spine.
- Learn how to stand and sit with ease and structural integrity.
- Long restful meditations with practices to meet life’s challenges.
- Breath integration and mindfulness.
- Stress reduction, and practices for resting deeply.

All are welcome to these mornings of easeful and accessible Yoga. Experienced practitioners and beginners alike will benefit from an enquiry approach to learning and practicing Yoga.
